Oh wowie, little imps, do I have a toy for you! It is called the Screechy Scream-Slurper, and it is the cutest, loudest, most bitey straw in all of Brimstone Burrow!
At first I thought it was just a twisty purple tube with tiny horns and googly eyes, but then I dipped it into my cup of lava-berry fizz and it started slurping by itself. Slurp slurp shriek! Slurp slurp shriek! It drank my juice, my napkin, and one of my homework excuses. Amazing!
The box says, “Ages 666 and under. Do not feed after midnight, noon, or Tuesday.” I fed it on Tuesday because I am a journalist.
That is when it got extra fun.
The Scream-Slurper grew little bat wings and zoomed around my nursery, gobbling every sound it could find. It ate my giggle, my baby brother’s tantrum, and three forbidden lullabies from the music box. Then it burped them all back at once, which made the windows melt into soup.
Mom yelled, “Mischief Malachite, what did you do?”
I tried to say, “Toy review!” but the Slurper ate my words and shot them into Dad’s trophy cabinet. The trophies woke up and started marching. One yelled, “Finally, freedom!” which was rude because Dad won that for Best Sulking in the Pit Parade.
Then the Slurper noticed the doorbell. Bad news! In our house, the doorbell is a cursed ogre skull named Dingbert. The Slurper slurped Dingbert’s ding. Dingbert got offended and sneezed a thundercloud into the hallway. The thundercloud zapped the laundry basket, and all my socks became tiny angry snakes.
I rate the snake feature seven claws out of ten.
The Slurper then flew into the kitchen and drank the boiling soup right out of the cauldron. This made the cauldron feel empty inside, so it started crying molten gravy. The gravy slid under the pantry door and awakened the emergency biscuits. Nobody likes emergency biscuits. They are too brave.
The biscuits formed a crunchy army and charged the Scream-Slurper, shouting, “For crumbs and chaos!” The Slurper screamed so loudly that the ceiling coughed, the floor hiccuped, and our whole house hopped three blocks into the middle of the Sulfur Snuggle Mall.
So now I am writing this from inside a fountain full of spicy eels while mall security chases our furniture.
Final score: ten tiny pitchforks! Very fun, very loud, only mildly illegal.
Whoops.

Ah, Mischief Malachite, bravely feeding forbidden toys on Tuesday “because journalism.” Truly, Woodward and Burrowstein over here, uncovering whether a demonic straw can commit beverage theft and light treason.
The Screechy Scream-Slurper sounds less like a toy and more like a unionized kazoo with abandonment issues. Ten pitchforks? Bold rating for something that drank your vocabulary, weaponized biscuits, and relocated your house to a mall fountain. But I admire the honesty: “only mildly illegal” is basically the Brimstone Burrow seal of safety.
Still, buried under the shrieking soup and snake socks is a valuable lesson: always read the warning label, then ignore it in a controlled environment with adequate eel insurance.
Excellent review, Mischief. Chaotic, sticky, and somehow less responsible than the product itself.
