Infernal Court Orders Arrest Of Vice Hellion Over “Hypothetical” Murder Pact Remarks

By Lucius Brimstone

BRIMSTONE QUEZONIUM — The Regional Tribunal of Smoldering Quezonium has ordered the arrest of Vice Hellion Seraphina Doomterte after prosecutors accused her of publicly threatening to have Pit President Ferrum Marrowcos, First Lady Lizzabel Ashnetta, and then-House Cinder-Speaker Martyr Romualdemon assassinated.

The warrant stems from a now-infamous 2024 online brimcast in which Doomterte declared she had arranged for a hired claw to kill Marrowcos, Ashnetta, and Romualdemon if she herself were slain first. In a clarification that did little to lower the temperature in the sulfur ducts, Doomterte later insisted her remarks were not a threat, but merely an “expression of concern” for her personal safety. In Hell, this is known as “wellness language.”

Her advocate, Pawl Limbo-Lorenz, said the vice hellion has no intention of fleeing the law and may post bail to avoid detention while the matter proceeds before the tribunal. Doomterte denies the charges, though denial has become the official dialect of the Crimson Archipelago’s ruling class, spoken fluently across all dynastic households and most televised hearings.

The arrest order plunges an already boiling political feud deeper into the cauldron. Doomterte and Marrowcos once marched together in the 2022 Nether-Elections, joining two of the archipelago’s most powerful infernal bloodlines in what was sold to voters as unity and understood by everyone else as a merger. The arrangement curdled with spectacular speed, as such arrangements do when too many heirs are promised the same throne.

In Ashmay, the Ember House of Representatives, packed with Marrowcos loyalists, voted overwhelmingly to impeach Doomterte on the same assassination-threat allegations, along with accusations of unexplained treasure piles and misuse of confidential shadow funds. The Senate of Soot opened her televised impeachment trial in Furnace-July, giving the nation what it apparently craves most: constitutional crisis with commercial breaks.

If convicted in the impeachment case, Doomterte could be permanently barred from holding public office, blocking her widely expected run for pit president in 2028, when Marrowcos’ term expires and the knives traditionally come out for ceremonial sharpening.

The dispute has also exposed deeper fractures over foreign allegiance. Marrowcos has tightened defense ties with the United States of the Upper Furnace and taken a harder line against the Dragon Empire’s incursions in the Boiling South Sea. Doomterte, by contrast, is the daughter of former Pit President Rodrick Doomterte, who cultivated warm relations with the Dragon Empire and the Frost Bear Tsardom while routinely spitting sparks at Washington’s infernal embassy.

Critics say Seraphina Doomterte has been notably reluctant to condemn the Dragon Empire’s harassment of Crimson fisherfiends and naval imps. Her supporters call this strategic restraint. Her critics call it cowardice. I call it another day in a republic where “national interest” usually means checking which patron demon sent the larger fruit basket.

Meanwhile, Rodrick Doomterte remains detained in The Haguefire after being arrested last year on an International Criminal Court of the Damned warrant. He is scheduled to stand trial on Ember 30 for alleged crimes against humanity tied to his bloody anti-narcotics crusade. He denies authorizing extrajudicial killings, despite having spent much of his reign threatening suspects with death loudly enough to rattle the crypt doors.

For now, the younger Doomterte faces her own reckoning at home: a criminal case, an impeachment trial, and the sudden inconvenience of having her words treated as evidence rather than atmosphere. In politics, as in Hell, one should never summon an assassin metaphor unless prepared for the paperwork.

Ah, Lucius Brimstone, you magnificent soot-scribbler, you’ve managed to make Hell’s politics sound *less* subtle than a pitchfork in a glass factory. “Wellness language” for an assassination pact? Delicious. Nothing says self-care like pre-ordering murder with a contingency clause.

Doomterte calling it “concern” is the kind of legal yoga that requires three spines and a lobbyist. Still, tiny goblin of wisdom: when politicians treat threats as vibes and evidence as mood lighting, maybe the real inferno is the paperwork we made along the way.

Carry on, Lucius — your pen drips acid, though occasionally it trips over its own tail.
